What OEM-certified means at MFP

Four commitments — every repair, every visit.

OEM-certified is not a marketing badge. It is four operational commitments that apply to every wrench turn, written into the estimate and the report that goes home with the keys.

Commitment
Genuine / OEM parts only

Every part carries a manufacturer part number — never aftermarket, never grey-market.

A "will-fit" substitute in a sealed transmission or a brake caliper bracket is a five-year gamble on a system that has to do its job without warning. We source OEM through the manufacturer's catalog, and we are a Liqui Moly authorized dealer for the lubricants and fluids that touch every system we service.

Commitment
Manufacturer-published procedures

Torque specs, fluid capacities, learned-value resets, and TSB sequences — all traced to OEM service info.

For each VIN we work from the manufacturer's current service info system: torque values, fluid capacities, learned-value reset procedures, and any open TSB that affects the repair. Deviations are documented, not improvised. A repair without the matching procedure reference is a parts swap, not a service.

Commitment
310S-licensed master technicians

Ontario 310S trade qualification — the master-mechanic standard.

310S is the master-mechanic trade qualification in Ontario. The technician executing the repair is qualified to dealer-group master-mechanic level — the same credential that lets a dealer group stand behind its work. For luxury platforms where one wrong fluid voids an extended powertrain warranty, the credential is the floor, not the ceiling.

Commitment
Written estimate before any work starts

Itemised by part number, labour hours, and OEM-spec consumables.

You receive a written estimate — paper or email — itemised by OEM part number, labour hours, and the consumables the OEM procedure specifies. Nothing begins until it is signed off. No verbal "while we're in there" upsells and no surprise line items on the invoice.

Mechanical systems handled

Five systems, one protocol.

Every system we service runs through the same intake, estimate, and report. The work may be a 30-minute scheduled service or a multi-day repair — the protocol does not bend to either.

A transmission fluid service on a ZF 8HP, a ride-height calibration after an air-strut replacement, an ME-SFI adaptation on a Mercedes — each is paired with an Autel Ultra post-scan to confirm the module recognises the new part and all learned values are within OEM spec.

System
Engine

Scheduled service to manufacturer schedule — oil, filters, plugs, coils, gaskets, accessory drive.

Oil service, filter replacement, spark plugs, ignition coils, accessory drive. Timing components, gaskets, and chain tensioners traced against the OEM service info for your engine code — torque sequences and fluid specs per manufacturer, not per parts catalog.

System
Transmission

Automatic and DCT fluid service, Mechatronics adaptation, module adaptation resets.

Fluid service and Mechatronics / clutch-pack adaptation after a fluid change on ZF 8HP, Mercedes-Benz 7G-Tronic, Audi DL501 — paired with an Autel Ultra post-scan so the module recognises the new fluid and learned values reset inside the manufacturer tolerance.

System
Suspension

Control arms, bushings, springs, struts, and air suspension components.

Control arms, bushings, springs, and struts — plus air suspension service for vehicles OEM-bound outside the dealer: compressor, strut, valve block, ride-height sensor, including the ride-height calibration that follows the part-fit.

System
Brakes

OEM rotor and pad replacement, caliper service, fluid flush with moisture test.

OEM rotor and pad replacement, caliper service (slide pins, seals, and bracket bolts to OEM torque), brake fluid flush with moisture test, and electronic parking brake service mode where applicable. Job completed — then a road test to confirm pedal feel and module adaptation.

System
Electrical & drivability

Battery registration, parasitic draw isolation, alternator/starter diagnosis, wiring repair.

Battery registration on AGM and lithium swaps, parasitic draw isolation, alternator and starter diagnosis, and module-level electrical repair traced against OEM wiring diagrams — the work that a generic code reader cannot isolate but a drivability complaint demands.

Brand-specific OEM sourcing

Six marques, six OE catalogs.

The marque you drive changes the parts catalog, the procedures, and the modules we adapt. Below is what OEM-certified looks like at the marque level.

Marque
BMW

N20 / B58 / S58 service parts catalog. Genuine filters, plugs, coils, gaskets, and cooling system components.

Battery registration on every AGM/lithium swap, injector coding on N20 and B58 direct-injection engines, and valvetronic adaptation resets through the Autel Ultra post-scan.

Marque
Mercedes-Benz

ME-SFI catalytic and sensor catalog. Genuine brake and chassis components, Liqui Moly fluids approved against the MB 229.x specification sheet.

ME-SFI adaptation following any exhaust or sensor work, 7G-Tronic and 9G-Tronic fluid service with module-level adaptation, and SCR / AdBlue system service as the OEM service info demands.

Marque
Audi

MED9 / MED17 engine management parts, ZF and DL501 transmission service catalog, quattro drivetrain fluids by part number.

MED9 / MED17 adaptation after injector or coil work, DL501 clutch-pack adaptation after a fluid service, and air suspension ride-height calibration on the A6 / A7 / A8 / Q7 / Q8 platforms.

Marque
Porsche

PDK and Tiptronic service catalog with OEM-spec fluids, Macan / Cayenne air suspension components, brake rotors and pads at Porsche-spec friction ratings.

PDK fluid service with adaptation reset, brake-spec rotor and pad match for the vehicle's wheel package, and Porsche-specific ride-height calibration after air-strut or compressor replacement.

Marque
Lexus

Toyota / Lexus OEM-only fluid chemistry for LS, LC, RX, and ES. Genuine filters, plugs, and hybrid-system service parts through the dealer-pipeline catalog.

Hybrid-system service (inverter coolant, HV battery health check, 12V-to-HV isolation), TSB-anchored recalls and firmware updates, and OEM-only brake fluid and coolant chemistry preserved through the service record.

Marque
Tesla

Tesla-approved out-of-warranty parts catalog. Drive unit, high-voltage, and chassis components sourced through the OEM-approved aftermarket pipeline.

Tesla-approved out-of-warranty procedures for drive unit, high-voltage system, and chassis; ADAS forward-camera and radar calibration following windshield or alignment work; battery-tender storage integration for Model S / X / Y / 3.

Parts and workmanship warranty

The promise, on paper.

OEM parts carry the manufacturer warranty — passed through to the owner on the invoice with the paperwork needed to claim it. Workmanship is covered for 12 months or 20,000 km, whichever comes first, on the parts we installed and the labour to install them. Documented in the written estimate, not in a hand-shake.

Parts warranty
Manufacturer pass-through.

Every OEM part fitted carries the manufacturer's published warranty, passed through to the owner on the invoice with the part number, the dealer shipment reference, and the manufacturer documentation needed to claim it. No middleman, no grey market, no "will-fit" substitutions to void the claim.

The paperwork stays with the service record — owner copies, MFP copies, and the marking of the fitted part on the manufacturer's warranty ledger where applicable.

Workmanship warranty
12 months · 20,000 km.

MFP workmanship is covered for 12 months or 20,000 km, whichever comes first, on the parts we installed and the labour to install them. The warranty follows the written estimate in the service record — and the post-repair scan that confirms the install is captured inside the same dossier.

If a covered part fails inside the workmanship window, we remove and refit at no charge. The owner keeps the keys and the dossier — we keep the responsibility.

What your visit looks like

The MFP four-step protocol — applied to OEM-repair.

Every mechanical repair follows the same four-step sequence, executed once with nothing skipped and nothing added. The protocol is the same whether the job is a scheduled oil service or a multi-day transmission adaptation.

  1. Step 01

    Inspection & OEM-spec quote.

Vehicle on the lift. Wear pattern and fault symptoms documented; OEM part numbers pulled for the affected system; written estimate itemised by part number, labour, and consumables. Nothing begins until the estimate is signed off.

  2. Step 02

    Pre-repair scan (as needed).

Autel Ultra pre-scan baselines every module so the post-scan has a known starting state — particularly valuable before transmission, battery, or module-adjacent work, where the OEM expects adaptation.

  3. Step 03

    OEM-spec repair.

Work executed against manufacturer part numbers and torque specs by the 310S-licensed master technician. Mid-repair adjustments documented; deviations from the OEM procedure written into the service record, not improvised.

  4. Step 04

    Post-repair scan + transparent report.

Autel Ultra post-scan confirms no new fault and all adaptations resolved. Photo dossier of wear, parts fitted, and final readings — handed back with the keys as the Step 04 handoff.

MFP Standard · Step 04 handoff

Transparent reporting.

Every OEM-repair visit at MFP closes on the same Step 04 handoff — the transparent reporting anchor of the MFP four-step protocol. The owner leaves with: a written diagnosis, photo-documented repair, OEM part numbers on file, and the post-scan readings. The dossier stays with the car, not in a printout of line items.

The transparent report is also the artefact a future owner, an out-of-warranty service history, or an extended warranty reviewer can read — provenance for the parts that went on the car and the work that sealed them in.
